We would like to welcome you to our annual Southwestern Ultrasound Regional Fellowship (SURF) Conference! We meet every year and put on this conference for fellows and young faculty. The cost is zero and this conference has a unique mission: Prepare ultrasound fellows to maximize their fellowship year, assist in early career development, and provide an environment to meet other fellows and young faculty with whom you will shape the future of emergency ultrasound. The course will proudly be hosted by the oh so amazing Chris Fox (@jchristianfox) at University of California-Irvine in Irvine, California on Friday August 26. Please try to join at least the night before for a big dinner. All free (thanks to MINDRAY who is our sponsor for this year’s course). Details and itinerary will be coming in the next few days to your email.

CONFERENCE ADDRESS: 3800 W. Chapman Avenue, Floor 3, Orange, CA 92868

Starting last year, we teamed up with the brilliant Felipe Teran (@FTeranMD) to bring a special fellow edition of The Resuscitative TEE Course. We are proud to do the same again this year the day before SURF. This will be the same course taught around the country but subsidized to bring the same amazing skills to fellows without the steeper price tag. Please note, faculty MAY sign up as well. This will be held Thursday, August 25th at UCI. Details for the course and signup are here: https://www.resuscitativetee.com/irvine
